Buenos Aires... suite...

I don't know who said it would be summer here... well, it's not totally true! Today, it's been raining like crazy!!! :@$ And I have to say that Buenos Aires does not look too nice under the rain :(
So... very boring day, these are the kind of days you wish you were not travelling on your own. I felt really lonely today. But well, I guess I should not complain too much, because weather has been great to me since the begining!!

Ok, back to being postive!! And let me tell you about Buenos Aires.
So I arrived here on Monday. After the first "choc" of my hostel, and the very very young croud here, I finally adapted and convinced myself that I should still stay in this hostel. And at least, as it's very cheap, it allows me to spend more money on great restaurants!! :)
So my program: first, to not repeat myself too much, all my days start the same way, around noon, skipping breakfast and attacking directly with very good meat!! Mmmm, so delicious!! I don't know how vegetarians survive here! :)

Tuesday I went to the tourism office to start organizing my trip down South. And then I walked and walked and walked. I did the historical center, with all the monuments, nice architecture, some nice streets, etc. Very nice! Of course, I was like a Japanese with my camera, but that's me!! :) The evening was quiet, with the people at the hostel, not much to say.

Yesterday was a very nice day. I went to La Boca. It's a very poor neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, but there is one specific area of it that is so nice!! Cute little colorful houses, cute bars, tango dancing on the street. C'est super chouette comme ambiance!

And at night, I had my first tango experience!! I went on an organized activity, with tango class, and then real practice in a tango club. It was fun, and I met nice people, finally some people my age!!! :)

And today... the rain... so there was not too much to do, so I went to the bus station and booked already my tickets for next week. I shoud be leaving Buenos Aires on Sunday night, with a first stop in Carmen de Patagones, 12 hours from here. Mais ca va, c'est un bus de luxe apparemment, avec couchette, service complet, etc. People say they are very comfortable and you can sleep well. I'll tell you about it next week.
And tonight, I went to a very nice party. Actually, the organizer of the "Tango experience" of yesterday is receptionist in another youth hostel, and he invited me to a party he was organizing there tonight. I was not sure about going there, because I was really tired today, le moral pas au top, and with a huge migraine too... but I'm happy I went. I met many people, and I will probably see some of them back tomorrow. Ca y est, les rencontres commencent!!
It's a change from my hostel :)

Voila pour les dernieres news!
Oh and by the way, I was finally able to upload some pictures. For some wierd reason, I guess slow internet, connection dropping all the time, etc., not all the pictures I had selected are there, there are only very few ones, but at least you can already see some, and I'll try uploading the rest whenever I have a better internet connection.

Salut Mongole,

Enjoy & Take care
